Mission Statement
- To pass on the art of Aikido as we know it, to the best of our abilities, both as an effective martial art and as a modality for spiritual growth and self-improvement.
- To create a safe environment to train in that is supportive, nurturing, caring and respectful of all who participate.
- To understand that everyone studies Aikido for his or her own reasons and to honor those reasons provided that they are not contrary to the loving principles of Aikido as set forth by the founder.
Through the art of Aikido, we strive to...
- Gain technical proficiency with a strong emphasis on developing a foundation in Aikido principles and solid Aikido fundamentals
- Train in a dynamic, spirited manner
- Train seriously and have fun
- Train with an open mind that allows for awakenings
- Make Aikido a discipline and a way of life through integrating its movements and principles within ourselves
- Become better people...
